Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund if you change your mind. This is a discretionary decision by management where a product is not defective and must be requested through a Returns Request (RMA) through your byfarthecheapest.com account. Any returns of such a nature, ie, a product is not defective and is unopened and sealed, if approved for return, will be subject to an Administration Fee, calculated on a percentage of the total order value of the item. Currently, this percentage fee is set at 15% of the total order value and is subject to change and variation depending on the item being returned to us. This fee is a charge to recover our administrative costs and to re-stock the unfaulty, un-opened item you have returned. The customer will also be responsible for the shipping fees to return the item to ourselves, and where applicable, for us to forward on to our suppliers. Where an item is approved for return, costs will be deducted as described above and the appropriate amount owed returned to the customer in the same format in which they paid - for example, their debit or credit card. Refunds will be issued once the item is returned to us and confirmed as non-faulty, and once we have recovered any costs from our suppliers, where appropriate.
In the event an item is found to be defective, we'll pay the return shipping costs, and at our descretion, if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.). As standard, customers are responsible for both the outgoing and incoming (return) postage costs respectively, regardless of reason(s) for return. Defective and damaged items must be reported on the day of receipt via telephone and via email to support@byfarthecheapest.com, there are no exceptions to this condition. It is the customers sole responsibility to ensure that products which they otherwise accept into their care are in a satisfactory condition, and you, the customer otherwise accept full responsibility of checking the condition of products immediatley after receipt from the elected courier service.
We will not, under circumstances, refund or allow the return of Software Items, Games, DVD's or CD's or any other license/media based product where the serial and or license key(s) may have been exposed.
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Completed Orders" link under the My Account page and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
Please note that Dell orders are subject to Dell's Terms and Conditions, including, but not limited to, terms for replacement, repair and return and finally, availability. Please see the Dell website for your relevant product for more information. Where we may be out of stock for a particular Dell item, we may forward your order directly to our suppliers, whichever is the quickest method to deliver your product to you - either re-stocking, or direct shipment from a manufacturer. If you require your item(s) to be guaranteed for delivery, please call to check an items availability prior to placing your order, where a defintiive time can be provided to you.
Orders referred to external suppliers will be subject to cancellation fees carried by the customer exclusively where a customer has committed to a contract of sale and then cancels due to circumstances out of our control. This fee is set at 15% the total cost of the order.
Consumable Items such as Batteries, Chargers and Printer Toners & other considered perishable items are strictly non-returnable unless otherwise deemed faulty. Your placing of your order otherwise constitutes your acceptance of these terms and conditions and you hereby agree forfeiture of your statutory rights for return of such items.
Shipping
We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations. Please check with us before hand if you wish to have your item posted outside of the United Kingdom.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page. These are subject to change and various factors such as stock availability and supplier will affect this.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can normally be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
We are not and will not be held responsible for errors made by couriers or their third party agents, or for example, if a delivery does not arrive within the time service which has been prescribed due to human error or rare and unforseen circumstances, or acts of God thereafter (Weather, for example.).
Items on Next Working Day Delivery will be despatched the same day, providing the order has been placed and processed before 4:30PM.

A. On most items, we can certainly consider the prospect of. Please contact us for a custom-quotation on shipping costs if you require a same day delivery service or Pre-9AM delivery.
Q. Which Courier Service do you use?
A. We use a variety of companies, many of the well known companies such as Citylink, TNT, UPS and Royal Mail to name a few. We also use a selection of local companies depending on the postage requirements.
Q. Can you ship abroad?
A. Yes, on request, we can ship any of our products abroad. Obviously, there is a % increase in postage costs in doing so. Depending on your location, the increase can be both negligible or substantial. Please contact us if you're an overseas customer wishing to have your goods shipped abroad from the United Kingdom and we will be happy to provide you with a custom quotation on shipping your goods.

CREDIT CARD SURCHARGE
A 2.5% CREDIT CARD SURCHARGE WILL BE APPLIED TO ORDERS PLACED USING A CREDIT CARD. THIS WILL BE CHARGED AT 2.5% OF THE TOTAL ORDER AMOUNT, FOR EXAMPLE, AN ORDER TOTAL OF £100 WOULD INCUR AN ADDITIONAL, AND SEPARATE CHARGE OF £2.50.
